Harnessing the Immune System for the Next Generation of Effective and Safe Therapeutics
Immunotherapies are allowing clinicians to harness patients' immune systems to fight disease with incredibly promising results. At this year's PEGS Summit the Immunotherapy Stream has been designed to give attendees a complete picture of the field and it's advances. Biologics for Autoimmune Diseases (May 4-5) will address clinical endpoints, isolation of responder populations and how to best develop and apply treatment combinations. The Adoptive T Cell Therapies (May 6-7) event will then focus on issues facing the field with an emphasis on engineered T cells and the use of adoptive t cell transfer to facilitate therapeutic treatments for cancer, infectious diseases, and bone marrow transplants. Finally, Agonist Immunotherapy Targets (May 7-8) will showcase agonist antibodies that target both T and B cells, modulating T cell activation and enhancing immune response. Together, these three units will provide a focused look at how industry is applying new science and technology in the development of the next generation of effective and safe therapeutics.
